LTF Recruitment has established a partnership with a Primary School in Chesterfield, with the aim of providing a highly skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated support team. The school is actively seeking a proficient and certified team member who can excel both individually and as a collaborative team member.
The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Creating a well-organised, neat, and engaging learning environment that is welcoming to students.
- Conducting one-on-one and small group teaching sessions in subjects such as Literacy, Numeracy, and Phonics.
- Engaging students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and encouraging their active participation in lessons and the curriculum.
- Collaborating with the classroom teacher to provide regular progress reports.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A relevant degree or qualification.
- Previous experience in a school setting.
- An understanding of special educational needs (SEN) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A Level 4 TA qualification is advantageous, though applicants with TA experience are encouraged to apply.
- A valid driver's license.
