Must have qualifications or experiences: Previous school-based experience is ideal, and experience supporting children with special educational needs is necessary.
SAAF Education are currently working with a community focused primary school in Brent, North West London who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of their pupils within a KS1 class for the duration of this academic year.
About the role:
- Working with a child in a KS1 class with Autism (ASC).
- Following learning plans and routines put in place to support the child's learning.
- Supporting the child within the classroom, as well as in the playground during break times.
- Working closely with the class teacher to ensure the pupil is accessing lessons.
- Previous school-based experience is ideal, and experience supporting children with Autism (ASC) is necessary.
