SEN Teaching Assistant Primary School Hackney September Start
Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new long-term opportunity?
Educo Recruitment are working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Hackney who seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their team from September on a long-term supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH and speech & language difficulties, within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
The Role:
- Full-time SEN TA position (term-time)
- Supporting pupils across KS1/2 depending on your experience
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and emotional development
- Liaising with the SENCO and class teacher to track progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND (in a school or similar setting)
- A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for inclusive education
