SEN Teaching Assistant in Greenwich required for ASAP start
Full-Time Opportunity Available Term-Time Only 90+ per day
Are you a patient, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support on a one to one basis in a welcoming Primary School. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the early stages of a child's education and development.
We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistant who:
- Provide 1:1 support for children with identified special educational needs
- Support with communication, personal care, and sensory regulation, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
- Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Build a trusting, positive relationship with the child to support their confidence and independence
We require someone who has:
- Experience working with young children and/or children with SEND
- A nurturing, flexible and proactive approach
- Ability to follow EHCP targets and liaise with professionals and families
- A strong team player with a calm, positive attitude
