SEN Teaching Assistant - Brent
Remedy Education are looking for a caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school based in Brent.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs. The school are looking for a calm, patient and proactive SEN TA who can help pupils feel safe, supported and confident in their learning.
Role Details:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Brent
Pay: 100- 117 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
Work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis
Help pupils stay engaged, focused and confident throughout the school day
Support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Assist the class teacher with learning activities, resources and classroom routines
Encourage independence, social skills and personal development
Help create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience supporting children or young people
SEN experience is highly desirable
A calm, patient and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Confidence supporting pupils with different learning needs
Experience in a school, care, youth work, nursery or support setting is desirable
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
