About the role

Here at Vision for Education we're currently recruiting for a Full Time SEN Teaching Assistant for one of our Primary Schools on the outskirts of Billingshurst, West Sussex. Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will require you to work on a 1:1 and classroom basis with pupils with minor special educational needs in lower KS2. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be there to assist the individual pupils with their learning as well as the class teacher with their daily duties.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Experience working with children in either a Nursery, Primary or Secondary setting.
  • Experience working within SEN is desirable
  • To be available to work full-time (5 days per week- 8:45am-3:15pm)
  • A full, clean driving license is desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • GCSE's are essential, A-Levels are desirable
