Position: SEN Primary Teacher
Location: Liverpool
Salary: 160 - 220 per day
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Are you a passionate and caring teacher with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Our welcoming primary school in Liverpool is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a committed and inclusive team.
About the Role:
You will work with pupils across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2 with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges, and learning difficulties. Whether working 1:1, in small groups, or leading a specialist provision, you'll be central to helping our pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe and valued
- Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and outside agencies
- Build positive relationships with families to support children's learning and development
- Monitor progress, assess learning needs, and maintain detailed records
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching children with SEN in a primary setting
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective SEND teaching strategies
- A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
