The Role
You will work closely with teaching staff to support students across a range of subjects. Your role will involve:

Supporting learning in class and helping students access lesson materials

Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for students with additional needs

Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

Assisting students with SEN by adapting resources and classroom activities
-
Helping develop and implement personalised learning plans

Supporting the emotional, social and academic progress of students

Carrying out general classroom and administrative tasks as needed
About You
We re looking for someone who is:

Experienced working with young people (school experience ideal but not essential)

Patient, supportive and able to build strong relationships with students

Confident communicating with staff, pupils and parents
-
Proactive, flexible and able to work well as part of a team

Passionate about education and helping students overcome barriers to learning
