Job Description

We are looking for qualified secondary school teachers with enthusiasm and drive to inspire the younger generation, be innovative and teach with meaning. We have many different roles that could suit your particular needs, everyone is different: whether you prefer the stability of a long-term placement in a familiar environment, enabling you to build relationships with a set group of students, or you thrive in new environments, teaching new faces and want the flexibility of day to day supply work the choice is yours, to teach in a way that makes you happy.

Supply Teaching is becoming increasingly popular amongst teachers within varying stages of their career. It allows people starting out in the education sector to gain experience, confidence and hone their craft. It gives weary veterans the opportunity to try new schools or even reignite their passion. Or for those of you lucky enough to be near retirement, it allows you to take a step back and slow down but still continue to what you love.

Textbook teachers pride ourselves in taking a personal and genuine approach in building positive relationships with the teachers we have on board, allowing for us to find work that is suitable for you and allows for a great work life balance. As a strong team of approachable and dedicated consultants, we try our utmost to provide a trusted network of support to both teachers, and our client schools.

Ideal candidates will possess experience working within a Secondary School environment, and will be happy to work in schools within the North Northamptonshire area.

Candidate requirments:

  • Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • Have or be willing to complete up to date Safeguarding and Prevent training
