We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with SEMH, ASC, and ADHD within the school.
Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Help students access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to adapt learning materials and strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Use your expertise to manage and de-escalate challenging situations.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with students with SEMH, ASC, and ADHD.
Strong understanding of SEN and the challenges these students may face.
Empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
