Key Responsibilities:
- Empower learners by sharing your knowledge of the residential childcare sector throughout their apprenticeship journey.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, providing tailored support and guidance to ensure learner success.
- Develop crucial skills in learners, focusing on Mathematics and English proficiency.
- Nurture a caseload of 40 learners, ensuring they achieve success at their End-Point Assessment (EPA).
- Plan and implement teaching and learning activities with a robust assessment process.
- Regularly review progress, adapting coaching strategies to meet learner needs.
- Provide valuable information, advice, and guidance to support holistic development.
- Efficiently manage E-Portfolios for all learners.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Desired: Teaching qualification such as PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed, or equivalent
- We are willing to take on trainee's with strong occupational experience
- Essential: Occupational competence in a residential childcare setting.
- Desired: Assessor's qualification such as CAVA, TAQA, A1, or equivalent.
- Essential: Qualification in Residential Childcare up to Level 5.
- Required: Willingness to undertake relevant training or qualifications to stay at the forefront of the field.
- Driver’s License: UK driver’s license with access to own vehicle.
