  • Helping to create and maintain a welcoming, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting the social and emotional well-being of the children by fostering an inclusive and caring classroom atmosphere.
  • Assisting in the observation and assessment of pupils' progress, providing feedback to the teacher to aid in planning and development.

  • Supervising children during playtimes, lunchtimes, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children, ideally within a Reception or Early Years (EYFS) setting.
  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, in line with the school's policies.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive school community where staff work collaboratively to provide the best possible start for every child.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth within a vibrant school environment.
  • A rewarding role where you can make a meaningful impact on children's early education and personal development.
  • Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
