Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Havering)
Full-time Long-term opportunity Level 2 or Level 3 qualification required
We're looking for a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly mainstream primary school in Havering.
This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children learn and thrive - both in class and through additional SEN support for pupils who may need a little extra help with their learning or confidence.
About the role:
Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience
Providing 1:1 and small group support, including with children who have mild to moderate SEN needs
Assisting the class teacher with lessons, preparation and classroom organisation
Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Encouraging pupils to engage, achieve and enjoy their time at school
What we're looking for:
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with children in a primary or SEN setting
A patient, nurturing and proactive attitude
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
