Are you dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and compassionate SEN Learner Assistant to join our team at a Primary school based in Bolton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with SEN, contributing to their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff to implement personalised education plans (IEPs) and employ effective support strategies tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment, prioritising the social and emotional well-being of students.
- Assist in classroom activities, ensuring an enriching and supportive atmosphere for all learners.
- Maintain transparent communication with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in supporting individuals with SEN is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a sincere interest in addressing the distinctive needs of learners.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license and access to a car are preferable due to the school's location in Bolton.
Salary and Benefits:
