A 'Good' graded Secondary School in the heart of Hammersmith and Fulham is seeking a Psychology Graduate - Teaching Assistant to join their expert team of Teachers and Graduate Teaching Assistants ASAP on a Long-Term, Full-Time Basis.

Within this role as a Psychology Graduate - Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside dedicated professionals throughout the school to support students across KS3-5. As well as helping out in the classroom, you will be responsible for providing additional help to students with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.

The Head Teacher is keen to speak to Psychology Graduates with a passion for their subject and a desire to work with young people. This is the ideal role for Psychology Graduates looking to gain experience working with SEND, Mental Health and more - a perfect opportunity for those wishing to pursue a career in Clinical, Educational or Child Psychology!

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Psychology Graduate - Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting students across KS3-5 in and out of Psychology lessons including those with SEND/SEMH needs
  • Working alongside a team of fantastic Psychology Teachers
  • Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4pm
  • Long-Term, Full-Time position
  • 105 - 110 per day
  • Based in Hammersmith and Fulham - good transport links
  • ASAP start

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • A Psychology graduate with strong academics across university (1st or 2:1), sixth form and secondary school
  • A passion for Psychology and the desire to become a Psychology Teacher
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • A sufficient understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
