Academics Agency is seeking a dedicated and insightful Psychology Tutor for a temporary, part-time role within the Further Education sector.

Your Role:

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Psychology lessons to Further Education students, adapting your approach to meet varied learning needs and levels.

  • Foster an inclusive and intellectually stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, debate, and a deep appreciation for psychological concepts.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a relevant degree in Psychology or a closely related field; a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or proven FE tutoring experience is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrates a verifiable passion for education and a strong understanding of the Further Education curriculum and assessment frameworks.

  • Possesses the ability to explain complex psychological theories with clarity and relevance, engaging students with diverse learning styles.

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant degree (or equivalent) in Psychology or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience teaching or tutoring Psychology, ideally within an FE, Sixth Form, or similar setting.

  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or the willingness to obtain one promptly.
