Job Description

Purpose of the Role:
This role involves overseeing the management and growth of an Advanced Learner Loans programme. The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for strategic business planning, financial management, contract oversight, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the success of the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery and development of the Learner Loans Programme, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Oversee strategic business planning, budget preparation, and financial management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including funding bodies, employers, and learners.
  • Monitor contract performance, address risks, and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Drive sales and business development activities aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, including updates from Ofsted and other governing bodies.
  • Manage weekly reporting on KPIs, contract milestones, and risks.
  • Motivate and coach team members, conducting regular supervisory meetings and performance appraisals.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the skills and employability sector, with a focus on adult education.
  • Experience in contract and performance management, business planning, and financial stewardship.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and building relationships with employers and funding bodies.
  • Knowledge of the ESFA and Ofsted criteria, with a commercially aware approach to identifying new opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and business development in a target-driven environment.
