Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant, Supply

Contract Type: Day to Day, Supply, Long Term and Permanent Roles Available

Salary: £83.34 - £87.34 per day

Teaching Assistant (Primary) Bank Staff (full or part-time work available)

We are proud of the relationship we hold with the trust and with this, provide staffing for short, medium and long-term vacancies. St Bernadettes RC Primary School in Whitefield are seeking valuable teaching assistants to join their school on a supply or long term basis.

To support the supply need of schools within the trust, we seek Teaching Assistants who are passionate about positively impacting children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting Classroom Activities: Assist the teacher in implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILP s) and adapting materials to meet the needs of children.

  1. Support: Provide some focused support to students with specific learning needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve academic and personal milestones.

  1. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and parents to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting the children.

  1. Observation and Reporting: Observe and record student progress, behaviours, and achievements, and communicate this information to the teaching team and parents regularly.

  1. Promoting Inclusivity: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported in their unique learning journeys.

  1. Assistive Technology: Familiarize yourself with and utilize assistive technology and resources to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children is highly desirable.

  • Relevant qualifications or training in a related field is desirable.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational development of children.
