Pay: 95 - 115 per day
Veritas Education are proud to be working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school in Southwark to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from November 2025.
This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is well-known for its nurturing ethos and strong commitment to helping every child achieve their best. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils to access learning, build confidence, and develop positive relationships within the classroom.

The Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant Will Have:
Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting (essential)
Knowledge of strategies to support learning, communication, and behaviour
Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting children with additional needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff and parents
Main Responsibilities Include:
Providing tailored one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
Assisting the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
Supporting children's social, emotional, and behavioural development
Using creative strategies and resources to promote engagement and understanding
Monitoring pupil progress and sharing observations with the class teacher and SENCO
Helping to maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
