Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Primary School Teachers to join a local primary school.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in a Primary school classroom teaching EYFS, Reception, KS1, KS2 or SEN.

Duties:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the national curriculum

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

- Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive classroom atmosphere

- Proven experience in teaching primary school-aged children

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in teaching

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant?

We require a Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner to work in a busy foundation stage unit within a large primary school in central Carlisle

The position will start in early September and be required until the end of the academic year in a local Primary school.

We are looking to recruit confident Teaching Assistants who hold at least a Level 2 Qualification in Teaching Assistant or equivalent. The role is a full-time position, but the school can be flexible for the right candidate.

The role is to work within the a EYFS / Reception Class supporting and working alongside the class teacher and another TA providing the children with an educational, fun filled day.

We are looking for someone who:

Create strong rapport with students and staff within a school setting.

Experience working within a school setting

Clear understanding of the early years curriculum

Support pupils with behaviour issues

Support pupils with Social, emotional and mental health difficulties, sensory and physical needs.

Capable of aspiring pupils to achieve outstanding results.

Help to create a safe striving learning environment.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) Qualification
  • Diploma or Degree in an Education based subject.
  • If you are Qualified by Experience Have no qualification but do have solid experience of working in a classroom.
  • If you have experience of assisting in group or 1:1 situation.
