Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Outstanding Lessons: Plan and teach engaging lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a love of learning in primary-aged children.
  • Create an Inclusive Learning Environment: Develop a classroom atmosphere that encourages students to thrive, providing the support they need to achieve their best.
  • Monitor and Assess Progress: Regularly assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents to drive their academic development.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work alongside fellow educators to create innovative lesson plans, activities, and school-wide initiatives to enhance the learning experience.
  • Promote Positive Values: Foster an environment of respect, responsibility, and community within the school, helping students grow socially, emotionally, and academically.


Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in Primary Education: Previous teaching experience, ideally across Key Stages 1 and 2, is essential.
  • Passion for Teaching: A genuine commitment to helping children succeed and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, maintaining open lines of communication to support student success.
  • Adaptability: Be proactive, adaptable, and willing to take on challenges in a dynamic classroom environment.
  • DBS Check: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a DBS and reference check.
