Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary School Teacher to join their team starting this September. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 5 students in small class sizes, fostering a positive learning experience through patience, suportiveness, and kindness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons for Year 5 students.
- Utilise pre-planned materials effectively to enhance learning outcomes.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Provide individualised support to students as needed to facilitate their academic progress.
- Collaborate with other excellent, qualified primary teachers to share best practices and ensure consistency in teaching standards.
Requirements:
- QTS/Qualified Primary School Teacher with experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) students.
- Demonstrated patience, suportiveness, and kindness in working with children.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
Schedule:
- Gerrards Cross location on Sundays, (9:30am - 3:30pm), teaching Year 5 from 9:30am-12pm and Year 4 from 1-3:30pm.
- Total of 34 weeks per year.
