Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant (January) - Wolverhampton.
Are you passionate about supporting young learners? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work with various needs such as PMLD/SEMH/Autism to work across schools in Wolverhampton starting in January
Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
Help in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities.
Support students during lessons, encouraging active participation and engagement.
Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Supervise and support students during break times and outings.
Collaborate with other staff members to share ideas and best practices.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
Requirements:
A relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them succeed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
