Primary School Office ManagerBased in Great Handsworth, Birmingham 15- 16ph

Your new company
A busy primary school based in North Birmingham is looking for an Office Manager to join their dynamic school. The role will be working in a small school office, and will be 8am - 4pm term time only, until they recruit permanent to the role. The role is to start as soon as possible.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the headteacher, you will be responsible for running the small school office with a small admin reporting into you. The role will entail:

  • To manage the efficient running of the academy office, improving processes and systems as required and improving business efficiency and quality standards.
  • Undertaking confidential work for the Head teacher such as preparation of confidential reports relating to staff and pupils.
  • Line manage reception staff to ensure an effective and efficient service.
  • Organising meetings for the Head teacher and the Leadership team.
  • Taking minutes for the Head teacher when required.
  • Organising cover supply for the academy.
  • Responsible for accurately maintaining pupil records on relevant systems.
  • Work with central teams and other academies in the Trust, to establish good practice throughout the Trust, offering support where required

What you'll need to succeed
You will have recognised management experience in all of the above areas. You will be a resilient individual with the ability to work under pressure and be able to meet conflicting deadlines. You will be an organised individual with the ability to manage different functions of the school as well as excellent communication skills (including written, oral and presentation skills).
