Your new schoolA Primary School in Islington is currently seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 or 2 class teacher for their two-form entry school. Your role as a KS1 or 2 Teacher

  • Delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with school policy
  • Teaching from planned objectives, which take account of differentiation to achieve progression in pupil's learning, setting clear targets for pupils' learning based on prior attainment.
  • Set, mark, and monitor the pupils' assigned work, including homework.
  • Fulfill the school's and national assessment, recording and reporting system as appropriate.
  • Manage, with support, the work of Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in class to enhance children's learning.
  • Take part fully in primary school duties such as supervising playtimes, taking whole school assemblies and class assemblies.

  • What you will need to succeed in this KS1 or KS2 teacher roleA successful candidate will:
  • Must hold QTS status.
  • Have recent experience of working in the education system.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Showing good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
