Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Partnerships Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and maintain a network of relationships with a wide variety of organisations across the West Midlands. Your work will be crucial in supporting their business growth strategy and ensuring high-quality operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy with full geographical coverage.
  • Represent our client at external meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Identify and create local, regional, and national partnerships.
  • Maintain effective communication with partners to ensure alignment with business plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with business development and operational teams to develop sustainable partnerships for bids, proposals, and growth opportunities.
  • Facilitate the co-design of new proposals with stakeholders.
  • Support post-tender negotiations and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain specialist referral relationships with person-centred support services.
  • Engage with employers to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Contribute to in-depth competitor and partnership analysis.

What We're Looking For:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the funded landscape and provision in the West Midlands region (Essential)
  • Willingness to undertake regular travel (Essential)
  • Experience working with diverse commissioners and a basic understanding of procurement processes (Essential)
  • Proven track record in developing strategic and operational partnerships (Essential)
  • Confident representation of our client in various scenarios (Essential)
  • Experience in business development processes, such as competitor analysis and stakeholder databases (Desirable)
  • Established regional contacts relevant to the role (Desirable)
  • Experience engaging employers in partnerships (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of policy contexts in employability, justice, and skills, and their impact on local and regional delivery (Desirable)

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 dependent on experience
