About the Role:
- Position: Primary School Teaching Assistant
- Location: Bramhall area, Stockport
- Employment Type: Part-time
- Start Date: Immediate
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements. Your role will involve supporting the class teacher, working one-on-one or in small groups, and ensuring all children have the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children with SEND in their academic, social, and emotional development
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Providing tailored support to individual pupils or small groups
- Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within a primary school setting
- Experience working with children who have SEND requirements
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
