Job Title: Construction Trainer Assessor

We are seeking a highly organized and qualified Construction Trainer Assessor to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch training and assessment to learners pursuing qualifications in the construction industry, specifically at Levels 2 and 3 across various funded programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training & Assessment: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions using a range of methods to ensure learners successfully complete their qualifications at Levels 2 and 3, meeting all contractual requirements.
  • Employer Collaboration: Partner with employers to develop and implement training schedules that align with business needs. Conduct both group and one-on-one training sessions at employer sites.
  • E-Portfolio Management: Manage and track learner progress through the OneFile system, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • On-Site Training: Provide hands-on teaching and learning sessions directly at employer premises, as well as through workplace visits.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Produce detailed monthly progress reports and ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to meet training goals and certification standards.
  • Program Evaluation: Work closely with the training team to continually assess and improve the quality of training programs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all training practices adhere to current legislative standards, such as DVLA, CITB, NPORS, and VOSA regulations.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in plant operation and construction.
  • Previous experience delivering training in health and safety, transport, plant, and construction safety is a plus.
  • Proven track record in training and assessing NVQs in the construction sector.
  • Proficiency in using e-portfolios and delivering training in workplace settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following processes.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Full UK driving license with a willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Accreditation to deliver NPORS and/or CPCS training.
  • A valid teaching qualification, such as PTLLS or equivalent.
  • Recognized NVQ Assessor Qualification (e.g., A1, D32, D33, TAQA).
  • Level 2 qualifications in relevant construction sectors.
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English at Level 2 or above.
