Academics are currently working with a fantastic primary school in the London Borough of Wandsworth and are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team for the 2025/26 academic year.
- Location: Wandsworth, South West London
- Start Date: September or October 2025
- Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term (with potential to extend or go permanent)
- Daily Pay: 90 - 110 (based on experience)
As part of the nursery team, you will work alongside the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences for the youngest children in the school. Responsibilities include:
Supporting day-to-day classroom activities
Engaging children in fun, play-based learning
Assisting with lesson delivery and behaviour management
Carrying out regular observations and tracking progress
Helping to create a positive and nurturing environment
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or as a Teaching Assistant
Experience working within an EYFS setting is preferred
A team player with a proactive and caring approach
Someone who is passionate about supporting early childhood development
Commitment to a full academic year
