Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Immediate Start) - Mainstream Secondary School, Lewisham

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive Secondary School in Lewisham. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately, with a competitive salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, helping them achieve their academic goals.
- Assist the classroom teacher in preparing resources and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities where required.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and confidence.
- Help with classroom management and behaviour, ensuring a safe and productive setting.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure the holistic development of students.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
- Experience working in a mainstream secondary school environment is preferred.
- DBS check (on the Update Service) is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to supporting young people.
- A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic attitude towards education.
