CEMAST is looking to recruit an outstanding Lecturer(s) in General Engineering (ideally with specialism in aeronautical, aeromechanical, marine or electronics) who is an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated individual capable of supporting delivery of engineering qualifications across the curriculum range up to level 4.
There are full and part time opportunities available and flexible working will be considered.
You will be expected to be able to teach theoretical and practical sessions defined by the course specification covering general engineering principles. The successful candidate will be passionate and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in the engineering industry whilst having the ambition of passing on their knowledge and experience to the future generation of engineers.
You will be a well organised and flexible individual, able to effectively manage your own time and resources, with excellent communication skills and the ability to covey industry standard information and ideas in a clear, concise and engaging manner.
You will need to hold a Level 4 Engineering qualification. Experience in teaching and learning would be advantageous, the role can be an entry into teaching meaning no previous experience of teaching necessary. Having the confidence and willingness to do so however, must come from within the applicant. Fareham College will offer free teacher training to those wishing to enter the teaching profession.

The salary bandings are £21,600 - £31,119 per annum (FTE) for unqualified applicants and £24,840 - £35,731 per annum (FTE) for qualified applicants. There is also a discretionary £3,000 per annum (FTE) discretionary market supplement attached to this role.
