At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a committed Learning Coach to support learners across Manchester. This is a 12-month fixed term contract with the strong possibility of becoming permanent.

 

You will play a key role in delivering high quality programmes in Stewarding, Hospitality and Retail, helping adults gain essential vocational skills and progress into employment or further training. This is a fast-paced delivery role working across various sites, supporting cohorts of up to 25 learners on five day per week programmes.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver engaging teaching, coaching and skills development sessions in Stewarding, Hospitality and Retail across multiple Manchester sites
  • Support cohorts of up to 25 learners over intensive programmes of up to 3 weeks duration
  • Manage and maintain a caseload of adult learners, completing regular learner reviews and progression checks
  • Deliver Maths, English, and Digital Skills where required to support learner achievement
  • Produce clear and timely feedback on learner work and assessments
  • Plan and manage assessment activity, ensuring learners are fully prepared
  • Inspire and motivate learners, identifying barriers and adapting delivery to meet individual needs
  • Ensure all evidence for learning, achievement, compliance, and Ofsted requirements is completed accurately and on time
  • Build positive relationships with key stakeholders to support learner destinations into employment or further training
  • Produce accurate reports in line with KPIs and curriculum requirements
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of high-quality learning materials

 

What we are looking for:

  • Must have a Teaching or Assessor Qualification.
  • Relevant vocational experience within sectors such as Stewarding, Hospitality or Retail
  • Strong understanding of vocational delivery and adult learning
  • Experience of coaching or mentoring learners to support achievement
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise a varied workload

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of government funded learning and adult skills programmes
  • Experience supporting adults into sustainable employment
