Learner Onboarding Officer

Nottingham 

OVERVIEW

This is a new role with a really good company – an award winning training provider who provide high-quality training, apprenticeships and recruitment support across the Midlands. 

This organisation has a new vacancy for a Learner Onboarding Officer.

The purpose of the role is:

  • To ensure learners receive appropriate and adequate information, advice, and guidance about the programme they are undertaking and understand what is expected of them and how and where they can access support.
  • To improve the success and occupancy of learner numbers across all programmes offered by completing high quality IAG and enrolments and identify new business opportunities with existing employers and referral partners.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We seeking applicants who possess:

  • A transferable skill such as recruitment, compliance, or customer service.
  • Experience of interviewing and guiding a wide range of candidates. 
  • Knowledge of government funded programmes. 
  • Experience within a training or education environment. 
  • Strong admin skills.
  • Excellent IT skills (conversant with Microsoft Office and social media). 

The following will be helpful:

  • A L3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance.
  • Experience of onboarding and enrolling learners onto Apprenticeships. 
  • Experience of onboarding and enrolling learners onto Study Program

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Carry out timely in month onboarding of learners, liaising with both learner and employer.
  • Report any issues with onboarding/enrolments promptly and provide weekly updates on caseload.
  • Carry out timely in month enrolments of learners onto their chosen programme ensuring that you undertake thorough IAG to ensure quality and eligibility for funding and the programme.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with employers to ensure enrolments are timely in month and identify any new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with referral partners including promoting programmes across all provision to identify new opportunities.
  • Liaise with line manager to resolve issues around enrolments that you are unable to proceed with due to quality/compliance concerns.
  • Effectively manage diary to ensure IAG and enrolments numbers are maximised in month, each month.
  • Support the achievement of the overall sales team target by ensuring IAGs and enrolments are submitted for processing timely.
  • Set up, and maintain, where necessary, electronic learner and employer files/learning agreements/records/ which are stored centrally and securely and can be accessed by the wider teams such as delivery and compliance.
