We are seeking two experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our client’s team as Learner Engagement Officers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners, including Job Centres, Community Centres, and other potential training providers, to recruit individuals for a variety of funded programmes. Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Establish, nurture, and expand relationships with both new and existing key stakeholders and referral partners.
- Learner Engagement Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at meeting monthly targets and KPIs for learner engagement.
- Outreach Efforts: Engage with unemployed individuals through referral partners to enrol them in AEB (Adult Education Budget) courses.
- Stakeholder Support: Respond to enquiries from potential referral partners, offering advice and guidance on available courses and services.
- Point of Contact: Serve as a key contact for both learners and stakeholders, ensuring productive and supportive relationships.
- Innovative Engagement: Develop creative approaches to maintain a steady stream of learners in the programmes.
- Event Coordination: Organise and coordinate events and activities designed to engage and motivate learners.
- Effectiveness Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the success of learner engagement initiatives, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Record Maintenance: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of learners, ensuring all information is properly documented.
- Programme Support: Assist in the delivery of adult education programmes by offering guidance and support to learners.
- Policy Awareness: Stay informed about relevant policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required to support the organisation’s goals.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- An IAG (Information, Advice, and Guidance) qualification is highly valued, or a willingness to work towards obtaining one.
- Experience in the Employability sector, with a focus on Bootcamps and AEB programmes.
- Proven track record in learner engagement and outreach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with referral partners, such as Job Centres.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
- Understanding of adult education and related services.
