KS2 Teaching Assistant - Stechford

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Ongoing
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable KS2 Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming primary school in the Stechford area from September 2026.
This is a full-time, ongoing role supporting pupils across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate must be confident supporting children with a range of learning and behavioural needs and able to build positive relationships within the classroom.
The role will involve:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Delivering targeted interventions
Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
Encouraging engagement and keeping children on task
Supporting children with behavioural and additional learning needs
Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working in a school, nursery, or support worker setting
A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
Strong behaviour management skills
The ability to commit to full-time hours, Monday-Friday
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
