KS2 Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are currently seeking a passionate and committed General Teaching Assistant in the Blackpool (FY3) area to support Key Stage 2 aged pupils within an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School.
The Role:
Full time, Monday to Friday commencing in January 2024
Hours 8:30am - 3:30pm
Classroom based, working within an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School
Supporting pupils in KS2, based in a Year 4 classroom
You will be upholding Safeguarding and promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
Support children with their learning, differentiating support methods to meet the needs of all pupils within the classroom
Support the class teacher with lessons, managing pupil behaviour, upholding school ethos
Establish good working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding appropriately to individual needs.
Prepare classroom as directed for lessons and clear afterwards.
Be aware of pupil problems/progress/achievements and report to the teacher as agreed.
Support pupils in respect of local and national learning strategies e.g. literacy, numeracy, as directed by the teacher.
Assist with the supervision of pupils out of directed lesson time, including before and after school if appropriate and within working hours.
