KS2 SEND Intervention Teaching Assistant Job

Location: Hounslow

Salary: £85-£100 per day

Contract: Full Time/Temporary

Hours: 8:15 am- 3:45pm

A KS2 SEND Intervention Teaching Assistant is required for a primary school based in Hounslow. About your role as a KS2 SEND Intervention Teaching Assistant

With the support of the class teachers, you will be planning and implementing interventions to a range of pupils across KS2. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Recording and reporting the pupil's progress to the teacher. Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils to support them feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the school. Demonstrate a proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-professional team. Contribute to providing high quality, challenging, and differentiated educational activities and experiences through supporting the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aiming at pupils achieving their full potential in all areas of learning. Respond to the varying and changing needs of the school and adapt to any task presented to achieve the smooth running of the school. Promote pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being. Provide a safe learning environment for the children.

What you will need to succeed in this KS2 SEND Intervention Teaching Assistant Job

A relevant qualification in education, childcare or SEN, or equivalent experience. A good understanding of the needs of pupils with learning difficulties and sensory needs. A positive and flexible attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a sense of humour A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
