About the School:
Are you a motivated and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference during a key stage of pupils' development?
We are working closely with a warm and inclusive primary school in Hyde that supports children throughout Key Stage 2. The school offers a nurturing and positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Some children have additional learning or SEN needs, providing a rewarding opportunity to deliver tailored, one-to-one or small-group support.
This role offers the chance to become part of a supportive and collaborative team, where you will play a vital role in helping pupils build confidence, independence, and a positive approach to learning.
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in lessons on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN or additional learning needs.
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence.
Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Support pupils' academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children in a primary school or childcare setting is desirable.
Understanding of Key Stage 2 learning and curriculum expectations.
Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply
