Intervention Teaching Assistant (Full Time)
Gateacre, Liverpool
£380 - £450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Immediate start - ongoing

This Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary school in the heart of South Liverpool are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher in year 3 on a full-time basis. As the academic support assistant, you will be responsible for small group intervention sessions with children of mixed ability. For this reason, the school would like to meet a Teaching Assistant who is adaptable in their approach to individuals and who has varied experience. You will also support monitoring student progress reports and have additional responsibilities around the school as part of your role.

This is a great opportunity to join a school who were praised particularly highly in their most recent Ofsted report, in their successful, whole-school approach to promoting and managing positive behaviour; and the children's progress from KS1 to the end of KS2.


Desirable for this Teaching Assistant role:

- experience of supporting children across KS1/2

- experience holding small group intervention groups

- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team

- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
