We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a range of welcoming and forward-thinking secondary schools across Merton. This is a full-time, five-days-per-week role, ideal for an HLTA who is passionate about making a real difference in young people's education.

The Role:
Supporting teaching and learning across a range of secondary subjects
Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Working with small groups or individuals to support academic progress
Supporting students with a range of needs, including SEN
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
Has experience working in a secondary school setting
Is confident leading classes and supporting learning independently
Demonstrates strong communication and behaviour management skills
Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to inclusive education
