We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work a full time role within a busy 1 form entry Primary school based in St Helens. The role will be a mix of supporting the Teacher and leading PPA. The school is a strong school with excellent resources with a passionate team making sure every pupil is valued and developed within school.
The school was graded good in their last Ofsted.

Cover PPA time and classes as and where needed
Provide support to the whole class
Encourage children to complete work to the best of their ability
Increase children's self-esteem by pointing out the good in their work
Support the class teacher in delivering exciting and engaging lessons
Manage behaviour throughout the school day Requirements:
A positive and enthusiastic attitude to support learning
Experience working with young children
A caring and nurturing personality
Excellent communication skills
A HLTA qualification, QTS / ECT or relevant experience in this role
