HLTA - Intervention & Classroom Support Specialist
Primary Education Full-Time Aspire People
Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning within a primary school setting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering targeted intervention programmes while also providing classroom cover and supporting teachers across the school.
This position is ideal for a HLTA who enjoys helping pupils overcome learning barriers and supporting schools in raising attainment.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering intervention programmes across Reading, Writing, Maths, and Phonics
Leading lessons during teacher release time and staff absence
Supporting pupils through targeted small-group learning sessions
Monitoring and recording pupil progress
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders
Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs where required
Helping maintain high standards of teaching and learning
The School Is Looking For Someone Who:
Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
Has recent experience within a UK primary school
Has strong curriculum knowledge across primary education
Is confident leading whole-class learning independently
Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills
Is passionate about improving pupil outcomes
