Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Key Stage 2

Location: Hackney, East London

Start Date: Immediate

HLTA The Role

Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, covering classes in the teacher s absence.

Deliver engaging small group interventions and booster sessions to help pupils achieve key learning milestones.

Work collaboratively with class teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver targeted learning activities.

Provide 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help, including those with SEN or EAL.

Contribute to assessment, pupil progress tracking, and classroom organisation.

HLTA Key Requirements

Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience working at a higher level within a school.

Proven experience supporting or leading lessons across Key Stage 2.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
