Head of Quality - Apprenticeships
Remote based / Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 depending on experience.
OVERVIEW
V Selective have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Quality to join a ‘Good’ rated Training Provider organisation. This is a thriving organisation who deliver apprenticeships within some global companies.
As Head of Quality:
- You will set high standards across all aspects of delivery, inspiring and driving the organisation towards excellence in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- You will be responsible for implementing a clear and robust internal quality cycle to protect and improve all services.
- You will have responsibility for quality and continuous improvement, client experience, quality assurance and safeguarding. Managing a team to help elevate performance, brand and market share.
This is a Home / Remote based role.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Extensive Quality management expertise, with expert knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework, the matrix Standard and the Apprenticeship Accountability Framework.
- Proven Leadership skills
- A track record of collaborative working with delivery teams to raise standards.
- Proficient problem solving skills, adept in root cause analysis, risk assessment, corrective and preventive action, with the ability to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Process improvement experience, understanding the need for efficiencies whilst upholding quality standards.
- Ability to gather and analyse quality related learner data, generating meaningful insights to make informed decisions and drive quality improvements. Must possess excellent IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams, reporting quality metrics to senior leaders and ensuring alignment to quality goals and strategy.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies and industry partners.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programmes to educate employees around quality standards, processes and best practice.
- An IQA qualification is essential
- Desirable qualifications are a Level 5 Teaching qualification, a Professional coaching qualification, a Level 4 IAG qualification and being a Qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead (all beneficial but not essential)
THE ROLE
- Lead a culture of quality and improvement across the business, where everyone strives to exceed on expectation to maximise results.
- Monitor delivery activity against the Education Inspection Framework, educating and supporting the business to achieve outstanding delivery outcomes.
- Continually develop and review the Self-Assessment Report
- Conduct formal reviews on progress against the Improvement Plan.
- Lead the OTLA process across the organisation.
- Moderate the observation reports completed by the observation team, conducting quarterly OTLA standardisation sessions to ensure consistency in practice.
- Manage the Qualifications Assurance function, ensuring quality compliance and adherence to the EPA and EQA regulations.
- Analyse programme data and plan deep dive activities to understand root cause challenges. Create action plans and support the delivery team to course correct any areas of underperformance.
- Conduct programme, sector and client quality reviews to monitor performance against the Education Inspection Framework.
- Organise and host delivery team CPD sessions that align to quality monitoring findings.
- Produce a monthly Quality Report that details delivery team performance against the Quality OKR’s.
- Lead on learner experience initiatives.
- Champion safeguarding in all quality improvement activities, ensuring a strong culture of safeguarding and wellbeing.
- Monthly interrogation of QAR reports to identify trends and focus team activities
- Act as the Deputy Ofsted Nominee during Ofsted Inspections.
- Lead on the reaccreditation of the matrix standard.
