About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the curriculum. You'll help create a nurturing, engaging classroom atmosphere, providing one-to-one and small group support where needed to ensure all pupils make good progress. This school in Bolton is on the larger side for a Primary school and has a great environment for the children to learn
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Provide targeted support for individual pupils or small groups.
Encourage positive behaviour, participation, and independence.
Assist with preparing resources, displays, and classroom organisation.
Promote the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils.
Requirements:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
