Aspire People, an education specialist agency, is currently recruiting for a General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rochdale, Heywood (OL10).
Role Details:
Position: Year 2 Teaching Assistant
Type: Full-Time, Term-Time
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: September 2025
End Date: July 2026 (with potential for a permanent school contract)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and pupils
Assist with delivering engaging lessons and activities
Promote a positive learning environment
Support the whole class - no 1:1 or SEN support required
Requirements:
Previous experience as a general Teaching Assistant (KS1 experience preferred)
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Reliable, proactive, and passionate about supporting children's learning
