Position: Teaching Assistant (Full-time)
Location: Wavertree area, Liverpool
Start Date: ASAP - July 2026
Salary: 90 - 105 per day (Salary dependent on experience)
Aspire People are working with a large, inclusive Primary School near Wavertree, Liverpool, who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis until July 2026.
You will be working with small groups of children across KS1 and KS2, delivering targeted academic support and interventions to help pupils achieve their full potential.
The role:
- Supporting small groups of children from across KS1 and KS2 with additional academic needs
- Delivering interventions and tailored support under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo
- Assisting in the implementation of individual learning plans and EHCP targets
- Helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and participation
What we're looking for:
- Experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting (desirable)
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with pupils of different abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- The ability to provide two professional references
- Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
