Part-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant - SEND Support

Hours: Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term
Pay: 85- 95 per day (pro rata, depending on experience)
Are you a skilled Teaching Assistant with experience in Early Years and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?
Tradewind is working closely with a warm and welcoming primary school in the SK5 area of Stockport who are seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in EYFS with complex SEND needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while working as part of a supportive and experienced team.
The role involves:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a child with complex SEND
Leading small group activities tailored to the child's needs
Delivering targeted interventions to support progress and development
Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement personalised strategies
The ideal candidate will:
Have a strong understanding of EYFS and SEND best practice
Be confident working independently and as part of a team
Have excellent communication and behaviour management skills
Be proactive, compassionate, and resilient
Hold a relevant TA qualification (ideally Level 3)
