Providing 1:1 support for a non-verbal Reception pupil with ASD during structured learning time
Using visual aids, PECS, Makaton or similar communication strategies
Supporting sensory needs, routines and emotional regulation
Delivering interventions across EYFS and KS1, including phonics, early language and numeracy
Supporting pupils with additional needs in small groups
Encouraging communication, engagement and independence
Helping maintain a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both specialist SEN support and wider classroom intervention work.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience supporting non-verbal ASD or complex communication needs
