S Knights Recruitment are a specialist Employability & Skills Recruitment Agency. We recruit for Colleges and Training Providers across the UK.

We are proud to be recruiting for an Employer Engagement Co-ordinator on a full time, permanent contract based in Birmingham with working hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (occasional travel involved around the community). Our client are an award wining independent training provider that has been established for over 14 years, who have supported over 10 thousand learners to gain skills, knowledge and qualifications that will enable them to start a career that they are passionate in. They are looking for a passionate and driven individual to drive engagement on the SWAP programme, engaging with employers/employees and organise appropriate training to upskill the workforce/individuals, there will be involvement of reaching out to JCPs, Community Centres, Charitable organisations etc to gain participants into further training to then progress them into employment. 

The Employer Engagement Co-ordinator will be responsible for the following:

*Generating participants from referral partners and vacancies from employers
*Provide participants with IAG on learning and employment opportunities 
*To build relationships with referral partners such as JCPs, other training providers, colleges, centres etc and support the referral partners with appropriate strategies
*Attend events such as jobs/career fairs to promote the organisations courses
*Input data and maintain accurate reports of participants progress from learning to employment
*Identify job opportunities and have a pool of qualified candidates ready to put forward

The Employer Engagement Co-ordinator will require the following skills and experience:
*Understanding of AEB funding provisions
*Experience running sector based work academies/SWAP 
*Building and maintaining long lasting relationships with external stakeholders
*Occupational competence in the Employability and skills sector - ideally a 360 role in learner and employer engagement
*IAG qualification from level 2 (desired)
